As a Queenslander through and through, I have an affinity with North Queensland the Whitsundays. I have dozens of photos of the Whitsundays I've taken myself but I was inspired by the composition of photo taken by Whitsunday Photography. I loved it so much I shot them a message on messenger and asked if I could paint it. So glad they said yes. I think this captures the tidal movement of the white sands of Whitehaven Beach beautifully.
